Cinematic Motion System · Design Exploration

One brand. Seven ways to move.

A single motion identity for Web Ventures: three homepage intro prototypes the owner already loves, a compressed homepage cut of Assembly built to the 2–2.5 second target, and four new service-chapter reveals. Same darkness, same ice-blue light, same weighty easing — seven chapters of one premium technology brand. Nothing here is integrated into any website yet; this gallery exists for comparison and review.

Homepage intros

Full-screen cinematic openings. The three originals play below in embedded frames, streamed from their own untouched prototype site; the Homepage Cut lives in this project.

01Homepage intro · original

Assembly

Runtime ~6.2sTechnique WebGL · three.jsWeight 20.5 KB + shared three.js

Twenty dark-glass facets of an icosahedron converge and lock into the hero's own polyhedron, wireframe shell fading in — the intro literally becomes the homepage hero's object.

Strength: the strongest brand handshake of the seven. Cost: the only GPU-dependent piece, and at ~6.2s it runs long for a homepage — which is exactly what the Homepage Cut below answers.

02Homepage intro · original

Awakening

Runtime ~6.2sTechnique Canvas 2D · no libraryWeight 17.5 KB

A breathing ice-blue core ignites eight satellite nodes one by one; hairlines connect the constellation while mono status lines flicker on — CALLS ONLINE · WEBSITE LIVE · FOLLOW-UPS ARMED.

Strength: the only intro that tells the product story, and it runs identically on every device. Cost: its central-core constellation is a composition the rest of the system deliberately avoids repeating.

03Homepage intro · original

First Light

Runtime ~4.6sTechnique DOM / CSSWeight 13.0 KB

A horizon hairline of ice-blue light grows; a slow sweep sharpens the wordmark letter by letter; the subline types in over one breathing violet glow.

Strength: fastest, quietest, zero device risk. Cost: a logo reveal only — no product story, the least ownable of the three originals.

Assembly Homepage Cut — assembled mark end frame
01 · VARIANTHomepage intro · compressed cut

Assembly — Homepage Cut

Runtime 2.35sTechnique WebGL · three.js (Assembly lineage)Weight 20.9 KB + shared three.js

The same scene, geometry, and choreography as Assembly — time-compressed through a virtual clock so the full arc (drift → converge → lock → lockup → hero handoff) completes inside the owner's 2–2.5s homepage target. The original ~6.2s prototype is preserved untouched.

Strength: flagship visuals at production timing; SKIP is live from the first frame. Cost: convergence is brisker — the drift reads as urgency rather than ceremony.

Service hero reveals

Four new pieces, one per service chapter. Each is a short reveal that sits inside a service hero — never a loading screen, never blocking the page. Each prototype page shows the animation framed in its hero context at mobile width, autoplaying once, with replay.

Genesis — assembled glass website end frame
04Service reveal · Smart Websites

Genesis

Runtime 1.3sTechnique DOM / CSS · rAF clockWeight 11.0 KB

Glass interface panels — a browser, its content, a phone, a smart chip — assemble with parallax depth into a composed website, finished by an ice edge-light sweep and a glowing call-to-action.

Character: the page demonstrates the product by building it in front of you. Featherweight and library-free, so the pattern can recur on any service page.

Discovery — ignited pin end frame
05Service reveal · Search Visibility

Discovery

Runtime 1.4sTechnique Canvas 2D · SVG fallbackWeight 14.0 KB

A luminous signal travels a dark spatial grid, pulsing node to node with expanding rings, until one business node ignites under a glowing pin — a customer finding you, made visible.

Character: fully abstract — no fake maps, no ranking claims. The static SVG twin doubles as its no-JS / reduced-motion end state.

Momentum — approved end frame
06Service reveal · Managed Marketing

Momentum

Runtime 1.35sTechnique SVG + DOMWeight 13.8 KB

Coordinated streams of light flow through three glass chips — POST, REVIEW, APPROVAL — each igniting as the stream arrives. The green APPROVED check draws itself last: approval reads as a human decision, never automation.

Character: motion that feels like work flowing through a managed pipeline. Signal Green appears once, with meaning, per the design system.

Synchronize — completed mesh end frame
07Service reveal · Whole-Business Systems

Synchronize

Runtime 1.45sTechnique SVGWeight 13.0 KB

Six peer nodes — deliberately no center — draw luminous links to each other until the mesh completes, then pulse once, together: separate parts becoming one system.

Character: the systemic counterpoint to Awakening's constellation; where Awakening has a core, Synchronize has equals. Pure SVG, the smallest runtime footprint of the four.
